Photogrammetry Models
Using sophisticated tools allows us to create the most accurate photogrammetry models available, with all residual errors below 1.0 pixel. Vehicles are processed in both Photomodeler (PM) and iWitness (iW). We chose to use PM Versions 6 and, recently, 2011 to maximize compatibility. Similarly, we use iW Version 3, which is compatible with all previous versions of iW. PM and iW camera calibrations are included with every model if they become necessary, though the camera parameters are embedded in each project.
The models include measurements at the sill height and door mid-height for side-impact analysis and at the frame-height (bumper) and hood/tailgate for front/rear impacts. Additional targets are often referenced (especially on the quarter panels and fender), and measurements not included in our model can be added by any user of PM or iW since the entire project is supplied with each purchase. So, if you have a case requiring specific measurements, they can most likely be obtained through our models.
