3D DXF / CSV Files
All models are supplied with a 3D DXF drawing for use with any computer aided drafting (CAD) program (AutoCAD, TurboCAD, Draftsight, Visual Statement, PC Crash, etc.). In addition, our DXF / CSV exemplar package includes a CSV version of the measurements for easy import into several reconstruction programs (Cad Zone, Aras, etc.). The models are exported from Photomodeler or iWitness and are essentially un-modified to preserve the model. Only tires of the appropriate size are added to the drawing. These DXF drawings can be merged with any other CAD drawing for straightforward crush measurement. Below is an example of the DXF that will be supplied with your model. Recent research has shown our models are accurate to 1.1 mm, and a paper detailing that investigation has been submitted to SAE and is expected to be published in 2016.
